Amazon’s DVY2 Delivery Station, located in Burnaby, British Columbia, is a high-tech logistics hub that streamlines the final stage of package delivery in the Greater Vancouver area. Spanning a 23.5-acre property with a total building area of 900,000 square feet, the facility features two levels: the first level with 437,000 square feet and a 32-foot ceiling height, and the second level with 270,000 square feet and a 28-foot ceiling height. DVY2 is equipped with 124 loading docks—82 on the first level and 42 on the second—alongside three 130-foot truck courts to optimize loading and unloading operations. The facility offers 436 parking stalls on the main floor and 303 on the second level, with a four-lane heated ramp supporting fully loaded 53-foot trailers. Prioritizing sustainability, the building is LEED Certified and fitted with energy-efficient LED high bay lights, daylight sensors, and occupancy-based lighting controls to reduce energy consumption. As a crucial component of Amazon’s supply chain, DVY2 processes incoming truckloads of packages, stages deliveries, and prepares shipments for last-mile delivery.
