The Amazon YXX1 Storage Distribution Center & Inbound Cross Dock in Pitt Meadows, BC, is an 825,000 sq. ft. facility on a 48‑acre site at 19300 Airport Way, beside the Fraser River and near Pitt Meadows Regional Airport. Opened in 2025 as Amazon’s first storage and distribution fulfilment centre in BC, YXX1 expands the company’s Western Canada network, supporting six delivery stations, a sortation centre, an AMXL station, and Vancouver’s Tech Hub. These specialized sites store, manage, and distribute inventory to regional fulfilment centres for faster delivery. With 100+ employees using advanced technology to stow, pick, and ship millions of items, YXX1 boosts the local economy and funds bike repair stations along key routes—aligning with Pitt Meadows’ Connected Communities, Parks, and Active Transportation plans.
